Shipping
At Heit's Wholesale, we strive to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of your orders. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days, with the exception of weekends and holidays. Orders placed during non-shipping days will be processed on the next available business day. If an item in your order is on backorder, you will be promptly notified, and you can choose to either wait for the item to come back in stock or request a full refund. We provide regular updates on backorder statuses to keep you informed.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. These fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout, and tracking information will be provided once your order ships.
We are familiar with shipping to Canada, but customers wishing to order from anywhere other than Canada and the USA should contact us for assistance. To avoid delays or delivery issues, please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete. Returns and Exchanges

However, in the event you are not satisfied with your order, our policies concerning exchanges and returns are as follows. Returns
Product listings indicate whether or not that specific item can usually be returned or exchanged.
Special order items are typically excluded from our return and exchange policy.
- Items must be unused and in the same condition as when you received them.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging.
- Regularly priced items may be returned; however, sale and closeout items are final sale and cannot be returned.
- We reserve the right to make decisions on a case-by-case basis if merchandise does not meet the above requirements, and we are happy to work with you.
Exchanges
- Our staff is happy to discuss the reason for your exchange if you call to explain. Exchanges may be necessary but are not limited to issues such as color or size.

Shipping Information
- All returns should be mailed to:

- Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
- We can assist with providing shipping labels if needed.

Special Order Merchandise
Special orders include items that are not part of our in-warehouse inventory but are readily available through our suppliers and handled on a case-by-case basis. These may include products like webbing, ric rac, lace, vinyl, and specific cuts of bias tape, many of which are drop shipped directly from our vendors.
Special orders are typically excluded from our standard return and exchange policy, but we aim to remain flexible and work with you whenever possible. Phone conversations are particularly helpful when discussing these orders to ensure all details are clear. Please note that special orders are often subject to minimum purchase requirements, which can vary, and may take longer to arrive.

Items Out Of Stock
We strive to always have our product on our shelves and ready to ship to the customer, which is almost always the case. However, with our inventory spread across multiple sales channels, we cannot always guarantee items will be in stock. That said, we monitor stock levels closely to minimize any inconvenience. We understand how frustrating it can be when an item you need is unavailable, and our policy is designed to keep you informed and treated fairly in these situations.
Items may be out of stock for various reasons, including awaiting the arrival of new shipments. While shipment delays are often beyond our control, our manufacturers typically provide reliable lead times. If you order an item that is out of stock, we will notify you promptly. You can choose between receiving a full refund or waiting for the backorder to arrive. We will keep you updated throughout the process. Having your complete contact information on file, which we keep strictly private, helps us communicate effectively about your order.
If the wait time extends beyond your expectations, you have the option to cancel the item. In rare cases, items may be discontinued by the manufacturer or removed from our product line. While we make every effort to update our listings promptly, discontinued items may occasionally be missed. Payments
At Heit's Wholesale, we prioritize your security and satisfaction when it comes to payments. Our payment processing is securely managed through Shopify, ensuring that your payment information is protected at all times. However, to safeguard our customers from being charged for items that may be on backorder, we have implemented a unique payment capture process.
How It Works:
- When you place an order, your payment information is authorized by Shopify, but we do not immediately capture the payment.
- We only capture the payment once your order is fully packed and ready to ship.
- If an item in your order is on backorder, we will capture payment for the in-stock items only.
- You will be contacted regarding the backordered item to decide whether you would like to wait for it or not.
If You Choose to Wait:
- We will capture the remainder of the payment and later update you when the backordered item is ready to ship, along with a new tracking number.
If You Choose Not to Wait:
- We will allow the remainder of the payment authorization to expire, ensuring you are not charged for items you do not receive.
We have implemented this system since it is not currently feasible for us to keep our inventory updated across multiple sales channels. The customer will not see when their payment is captured, however we want to be clear on what is going on behind the scenes. Our goal is to provide a smooth and transparent purchasing experience, ensuring you only pay for what is available and ready to ship.
