Our Story:
Heit’s Wholesale is a third-generation bulk sewing supply business that has been servicing retail stores, designers, and manufacturers for 54 years. Beginning in 1971, fashion industry sales representative Allan Heit sold fabric and sewing supplies, traveling to stores all over the Eastern United States, before kickstarting his company under the name “Embellishments," in the 1980’s. His son, Harry, joined him in the business in 2008, then branched off to start his own line of notions as the company “Heit’s Wholesale." Since opening his warehouse, Harry has integrated the inventories together and grown Heit’s product line extensively, always providing the highest quality items with the most organized and personalized service. He now proudly works alongside his wife and daughters as well as his dedicated office staff to service his existing and future customers!

Meet Harry, the owner and CEO of Heit’s Wholesale. He’s passionate about leading the company and enjoys managing the business alongside his newly-recruited wife, Lori. After a rewarding 24-year career as a school teacher, Lori is now retired but still plays an integral role in the company’s day-to-day operations. Harry and Lori now experience the joys of traveling to trade shows around the country with their three daughters, Abby, Amelia, and Naomi. Together, they combine their strengths to ensure Heit’s Wholesale continues to thrive and grow.
Sandy Krivansky
Product Line Manager and Vendor Relations Specialist
With 13 years of experience, Sandy has been instrumental in building Heit’s Wholesale’s product line and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors. She tracks all purchasing to keep our inventory well-stocked and organized. Sandy is also the mastermind behind our 128-page paper catalog, which features over 5,000 SKUs, helping customers easily navigate our vast selection. Her expertise ensures everything runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes.

Order Fulfillment and Shipping Coordinator
Debbie was the first of "The Ladies" to join Heit's Wholesale 15 years ago- When the company was still run out of the Heit's living room! She is the backbone of our order fulfillment process at Heit’s Wholesale. Debbie oversees the packing and shipping of all orders, ensuring every package is carefully prepared and delivered on time. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction keep things running smoothly from our shelves to your door. Thanks to her, we don't keep customers waiting.
Mary Ann Schwer
Accounting and Sales Channel Manager
Mary Ann oversees the accounting at Heit’s Wholesale, keeping our financial records organized and up to date. Beyond her financial expertise, Maryann has taken on the task of building our beautiful trade show display, making sure we’re always showcasing our products in the most appealing way. She also plays a pivotal role in expanding our business by focusing on alternative sales channels like Etsy and eBay. Her efforts across these areas help drive growth and ensure our brand shines at every opportunity.

Receiving, Quality Control, and Inventory Supervisor
Kris is responsible for handling all incoming shipments at Heit’s Wholesale, ensuring that every product is carefully inspected upon arrival. With her keen eye for quality control, Kris ensures that only the best products make it into our inventory. She also coordinates our advertisement mailings, keeping our marketing efforts on track. Her attention to detail helps us maintain the high standards our customers expect, keeping operations running smoothly from receiving to fulfillment.

Abby is the creative force behind the visuals and online presence at Heit’s Wholesale. She captures high-quality product photography, designs engaging graphics for marketing and branding, and manages the development and maintenance of our website. Her work ensures our products look their best and that customers have a seamless online shopping experience. Now working on opening new territories in niche markets, Abby is hoping to expand our reach and grow our customer base.

Amelia and Naomi are part-time team members at Heit’s Wholesale, lending a hand with updating inventory numbers and picking orders during their breaks from school. Their contributions help keep everything running smoothly while they balance work and their studies.

Chief Nap Officers (CNO) and Snack Detection Specialists
Meet our two office dogs, the true powerhouses behind Heit’s Wholesale. The Yorkie mix duo arrives every day with no sense of personal space and absolutely zero regard for productivity. Their primary duties include napping on the floor during meetings, demanding attention at the most inconvenient moments, and loudly warning us when the mailman arrives. They’ve mastered the art of emotional support by providing endless distractions and an unhealthy amount of cuteness. We wouldn’t be able to function without their expert supervision... or their ability to sniff out lunch from a mile away.

The Warehouse is packed floor to ceiling with a vast inventory, ensuring we have the products you need, ready to ship. Carefully designed to promote efficiency, it features three dedicated sections: office space for operations, a main inventory area for fast order fulfillment, and an overflow section to keep extra stock on hand. This setup allows us to manage thousands of SKUs with precision, keeping our supply chain running smoothly to serve our customers quickly and reliably.
